TERMS & CONDITIONS

Alcohol

Due to Dorset County Council regulations, we are unable to permit personal alcohol or glass bottles to be brought into the festival area. To ensure this, we may ask you to allow us to inspect your bags and request proof of purchase.  If refused then we reserve the right to refuse entry or ask you to leave and no refunds will be given. We ask that you support our bar from which all money goes to charity. Campers may bring their own alcohol which can be consumed in the camping field only.

To ensure that alcohol is served appropriately, we will be running Challenge 25. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25 will be asked to produce a suitable photo ID before they are served (or if they are seen drinking alcohol on-site).  If you think this might affect you, please bring a suitable form of ID to avoid any misunderstandings.  To ensure this, we may ask you to allow us to inspect your bags and request proof of purchase.  If refused then we reserve the right to refuse entry or ask you to leave and no refunds will be given.

Photography

Please be aware that by entering the festival you are likely to be photographed/videoed. By entering you consent to your photograph, and or any likeness being used, without any compensation, in all media and you release DorsetFest from any liability whatsoever of any nature. Children

DorsetFest will be providing children's entertainment as safely as possible, but children remain the responsibility of their parents/ guardians and should be supervised at all times.  This is an outdoor event on a working farm with a lot of people and it is the parent's responsibility to ensure their child is safe.  In the event of any problems or concerns on the day, please raise the issue with one of the DorsetFest team.

Disabled Access

We will do whatever we can to ensure that everybody is able to enjoy DorsetFest and to meet the different needs of our customers. We ask for people to contact us in advance of the event to let us know if they have specific needs. Alternatively, please let us know on the day. We are able to support with transport from the car park to the main field.

Dogs

DorsetFest welcomes dogs and responsible owners and freshwater is available on site.  We do request that owners keep their dogs under control at all times and clean up after them as necessary.

Litter

DorsetFest is based on a working farm so to avoid risk to sheep and ponies after the event, please can you place all litter in the bins provided and recycle where possible. We would be grateful if campers could take all of their rubbish home.

Out Of Bounds

As the festival takes place on a working farm, there are hazards which may not be immediately obvious, but require those areas to be fenced off.  All buildings are private property and you are not permitted to enter whether they are marked as a hazard or not. Anyone found trying to enter a house or barn without permission will be asked to leave the festival.

Covid-19

To help reduce the spread of Covid-19 we ask that you do not attend the festival if you have tested positive in the last 7 days. Any changes in government guidelines that require further restrictions and amendments will supersede the DorsetFest guidelines.

These conditions are in place to try and ensure that everyone at DorsetFest has a great time and remains safe.  Failure to follow these, or if we come across any anti-social behavior,  may result in individuals being asked to leave the festival at the organiser's discretion.  In that event, there will be no refunds.
