Interested in performing at dorsetfest 2026?

With the 2025 festival done the team have had a few weeks to wrap up, recharge and let the dust settle, but now we’re starting to prep for DorsetFest 2026.
The music is at the core of the festival and we’re now looking for bands. This year we thought we’d open it up to applications.
Whether you’re a band who’s looking for some experience playing live to a festival audience, or a potential headliner and you want to be in part of the DorsetFest story, why not apply?
The 2026 dates are Friday 26th June and Saturday 27th June.
We’re looking for a wide range music to entertain the festival goers, so whatever your style or the size of your band, feel free to apply.
The application process is pretty simple, and what we need is examples of your music that we can review. This can be through social media posts, music streaming services or video platforms like YouTube.
We’d also like your website and/or social media links to help give a more rounded view.
We’ll highlight upfront, that we are a not for profit organisation run by volunteers, so this will limit the fees we can pay as all proceeds get fed back into the local community and a nominated charity.
What we can offer is a stunning venue with a great audience, and we will support your band awareness through a marketing team that’s getting stronger every year.

As volunteers, and depending on the number of applications, we can’t promise to reply to every application individually, but we guarantee that every application will be considered and we will be in touch with the bands that would be the best fit.
