As well as the music, we’ve signed up a load of activities to keep the family entertained and here you can get a feel for what’s going on, the vast majority of which are included in the ticket price!
Hounds & Hooves Dog Show
Dorsetfest is dog friendly too, so you don't need to leave the favourite family member behind. They can get involved too with the Hounds & Hooves Dog Show 9:30am to 11am before the music and activities start up. All welcome. Assuming you can get them out of bed...

Surviving Wild Bushcraft
Craig and Robyn and created Surviving Wild Bushcraft to help families make the most of our natural world and develop skills that will enable them to not only survive, but thrive outdoors.
Craig spent his childhood hiking the Canadian Mountains and holds a Level 4 NCFE teaching certificate for Bushcraft Robyn has always been passionate about nature in all forms and graduated from Kingston Maurward College on the Level 3 Wildlife, Ecology and Conservation Management course. With their combination of experience and qualifications, you'll be in good hands.

For Dorsetfest, they have a range of activities on offer such as axe throwing, archery and Nerf target shooting alongside outdoor skills like water purification and fire lighting techniques. Please note that some activities will be age restricted.

Tamsin The Hula Hoop Lady
Tamsin is a UK based Hoop Love Coach who has been running the One Stop Hoop Shop and teaching hoop dance and fitness since 2016. At Dorsetfest she'll be running hoop dance workshops to entertain hoopers of all ages through the day.

Hidden Treasure
Hidden Treasure offers a unique, sustainable clothing and accessories stall built on three core values: Fairness, Sustainability, and Transparency.

Face Painting
What family friendly festival wouldn't include a face painter or two? We'll have Elizabeth - The Face Painting Lady and Daisychain who will be face painting and selling matching accessories

Mad 4 Animals
Join in with the Mad 4 Animals shows with a chance to get hands on with a range of animals that will have the family laughing out loud and buzzing with excitement.
LulusCrochetGoods
Based in Dorset Laura handcrafts a range of products, from Pokemon characters to clothing.

The Lovely Bubbly Show
Richard from The Lovely Bubbly Show is back by popular demand to perform his outdoor "Giant Bubble Show". There will be demonstrations and workshops, so all you need to work out is how big can you blow?

Bouncy Castle
Fun and exercise for the kids, all wrapped up in a bouncy castle at Dorsetfest

Jamie Jigsaw
Jamie Jigsaw has been a leading family entertainer in the Bournemouth for over 20 years and he'll be back at Dorsetfest with his shows and workshops, or striding round the festival bringing his show to you.

Like any event, the final line up may change and we'll keep this post as up to date as possible, but as you can see there's a whole load of fun for all the family. We look forward to seeing you there!
