To celebrate our 10th birthday, we’re launching a new logo, designed by the amazingly talented Helen Richardson
The original logo was designed in 2019 to highlight Dorsetfest as a music festival, and the colours around the top pay homage to a stunning rainbow we had in 2016.
As the festival has grown, the logo has been hard to use on a day-to-day basis. The shape, the detail and the colours have limited its day-to-day use as you can see by the example below:
This meant that the team started creating a simpler logo for everyday use:
As a result, we asked Helen if she could create a design to bring the logo up to date and make it more usable, while keeping link to the music. We think she’s nailed it with this:
This has been created in a range of colours that will allow us to use it on a range of backgrounds
There are also times when we need a simpler logo, for example on our social media profile picture, so Helen has designed this in a range of colours:
These logos will now start appearing on Facebook and Instagram, as well as posters, road signs and more.
