Soul Spa
The Soul Spa is is a haven of yoga classes, massage and healing. A moments peace from the excitement of the music and activities. An opportunity for some "me" time.
The zone is the creation of created Saira Francis, the founder of Mellulah Yoga Retreats and The Light Spa Dorset. Saira first started working in healing in 2004 and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Dorsetfest. Saira is supported by an amazing team of therapists, yoga teachers and sound healers who bring a wide range of activities to the festival.

Throughout the day there will be:
Indian head massages by Becky Thurgood. Indian Head Massage, also known as champissage, is a therapeutic practice rooted in ancient Indian Ayurvedic traditions. It focuses on the head, neck, and shoulders, using massage techniques to relieve stress, improve circulation, and promote overall well-being. It is a holistic treatment that aims to balance the body's energies and can be beneficial for both physical and mental health.
Reiki and massage by Hannah Monksummers. Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative medicine involving energy healing, where a practitioner uses their palms to transfer energy to a recipient to promote relaxation, stress reduction, and potential emotional or physical healing. It's based on the idea of a universal life force energy, often called "ki" or "rei-ki," which practitioners believe can be channeled to help restore balance and well-being. While not a replacement for conventional medical treatment, Reiki is often used as a complementary therapy alongside other treatments.
Myofascial Release by Will Salter. Myofascial release is a type of physical therapy that focuses on relieving pain and improving flexibility by addressing restrictions in the fascia, the connective tissue surrounding muscles. It involves gentle, sustained pressure applied to specific areas to release tension and restore proper movement.
Head and back massage by Melina James.
Reiki by Ben Sewell.
Therapies will cost from £10 for 15 minutes and will be available all day on Saturday, from 9:00am until 6:00pm in the Soul Spa, located just past the main festival field.
In addition to the individual treatments, there will be a series of classes.
