Staying Cool at DorsetFest 2026

We can't wait to welcome you to a sunny weekend at DorsetFest 2026 and it is going to be a warm one. To make sure everyone has a great weekend and stays safe our crew have put things in place and have some suggestions to make sure you look after yourself.

Our crew have set up:

· Plentiful access to wholesome cool drinking water

· A misting tent

· Extra shaded space on the festival field

· A range of ice-cold soft drinks from the bar

· Onsite first aid and paramedics

We would also suggest that you:

· Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated.

· Drink alcohol responsibly. Alcohol can make you become dehydrated much faster in hot weather. This can lead to heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

· Wear a hat, however daft you think you may look!

· Lots of sunscreen, we have more at the safety point if you run out.

· And don’t forget to keep you mutts cool.

We hope that doing this will mean everyone can have a great time. If at any point you overheat and feel unwell, please come to us at the safety point or visit the paramedics.
